I just located this website of pictures that I believe are absolutely gorgeous!
They not only give the impressions of a summer on Cape Cod, but year round life, as well. I hope you enjoy.

I found this site months ago and look at it often. It gets me really homesick for the cape. The pictures of the houses and flowers, I never see that out here. My husband is a plumber, and also concerned about work out there. I heard the pay is much better than in AZ. With all the illegals here our pay has dropped dramatically in the last few years. We own our own plumbing company out here, and we use to make about 30 an hour, now your lucky if you can make 15. We are thinking of making a career change. Maybe purchasing an existing business. Does anyone know if this problem exist there? Are construction prices being effected by illegals in Cape Cod? MA's?
My husband is a journeyman and has a license but it doesn't seem to make a difference out here. A lot of illegals will do the jobs for 5 bucks an hour. You can't compete with that!

Despite the thought that the Cape is "rich", we're pretty much working stiffs! The trades are huge around here. Carpenters, plumbers, electricians, etc. Also, lots of construction just off-Cape and the potential of the casino.

I am glad it's still this way. My grandfather owned the local pub in Buzzards Bay. He loved it and died a poor but happy man. I hope we can do the same. Thanks for the info, it's so nice to have.

I own a place on the Cape, next to Brewster. Although it is a beautiful place to escape to, I wouldn't live year -round. Although the year round population has exploded, it still doesn't have many young families or activities which cater to same. Maybe you want to rent a place for a week or two this fall and get a flavor of the area. You'll learn alot this way. <Moderator cut: Advertising not allowed in forums>

Mr. Mortgage, I beg to differ, with all due respect. I live on the Upper Cape which has a very large population of young families and year round activities for kids. My town has a new elementary school underway. Further down-Cape is probably a little more desolate in the off-season but if there were no young families/activities, there would be no need for schools. And as far as I know, every Cape town has several.

Are you sure this isn't just an add for your house? It is a nice vacation spot, but, bad advertising strategy.
