Hi Capecodcathy,
Been reading your posts. Always nice to read posts by people that have pride in where they live, as you do. I think you already qualify as a "regular".

Hi Puffle,
I'm just trying to get organized for my move, being on travel and trying to do this has been a challenge. All is good, the lease is signed, I've partially paid a moving company (including my truck) and have the move date, I've purchased my airline ticket and have a rental car all lined up. Now just need to book my hotel and I'm ready to go .... oooopppppssss... I'm not done packing yet. Since I'm on travel I'm only home every other weekend .. uuuggghhh. I have the hotel and rental only for two days, my things are suppose to arrive the day after I fly in. LOL... I just remembered I have to get the gas and electricity turned on and set up the cable/internet the monday after everything arrives. Guess I'm no where near ready, but sure am happy. Can't wait to get to my new home in MA .... and watch the change of seasons.
How are things going, any progress on when/where you plan on moving??
I wish you all the best stay in touch ... you can find me running all over this site. I really do enjoy it ....

I know it's crazy trying to move cross country but when you are looking forward to it like you, it's also very exciting and I am sharing that with you! Can't wait to hear how things go your first week there.

Goodness, I post a few times and now I'm a 'regular'! Don't I feel lucky!
It's the beginning of school, so it's been hectic with two kids. But, the first week is out of the way - finally.
What's the latest from you? Last we chatted, you were looking at Milton, I believe? Don't wait too long to make the move. Summer is ending. For natives like me, the weather is OK through the autumn, and winter is OK since I like to ski. Just might be tough on someone new to our climate.

I guess you didn't know but we lived in Lexington two years ago for a year. No, we are not looking at Milton. It's the usual places with the best schools primarily in the Metro West area and possibly the North or South Shore if we get lucky.
School started here August 20th! Can you believe it? I am attempting to homeschool my 14 year old, working full time at a new job and trying not to get my family kicked out of my sister in laws house by not following "the rules".
Glad things are going well.
