I want to send a bunch of big boxes (baby stroller, baby jumper, baby crib, etc) from Boston to Raleigh, NC.

Each box might weigh more than 15lbs.

What will be the best and cheap way to doing that?

Thanks in advance.

I've had good luck with FedEx ground service. I find them to be more reliable than UPS and often less expensive although it's been a while since I shipped anything. Prices may have changed.

Do you live near a Postal Center or similar type business?

They can give you rates for all the different carriers.

Thanks everyone. Could not use USPS since the size of the boxes was larger than they could ship.

I used UShip finally.

The Greyhound Bus parcel service would have been a good option. I've shipped two engine blocks to CA using their service and they were cheaper than Fedex Ground. And they are great with oversized packages, model airplane hobbyists use their package service. The only catch is that they don't deliver to the destination address. Instead, the packages are held at the closest Greyhound Bus terminal for pickup by a recipient with proper ID.

Greyhound also gives shipping discounts to students with school IDs.
