Not that shooting someone over it is justified by any stretch, but I'd be willing to bet this road rage began with the hogging of the passing lane...the single most frustrating behavior on our highways. Keep right except to pass.

Quote:
A teenager from Maine was shot in the arm this afternoon on Route 495 north in Merrimac during what state police are calling “an apparent road rage incident.”

The 16-year-old girl was taken to Anna Jacques Hospital in Newburyport. Her injury is not life-threatening, police said.

State police said they are looking for a white Honda Accord with tinted windows and a red, white and blue registration plate. Police described the driver as a white woman with sunglasses. The shot, they said, apparently was fired shortly after noon by a light-skinned black or Hispanic male passenger with short hair and wearing a gray T-shirt and sunglasses.

Yep, keep preaching to the choir.. The fact that most people never learn/will never learn how or even care enough to drive properly is always going to be a hindrance on the roads. We need to just chill out. Assuming that's what even happened, the "road rage" is caused by mental illness/mental challenge on behalf of the perpetrator. Those problems will always be there as well. It is what it is, unfortunately you cannot change people.

What is your point exactly?

Let's pray for the victim and her family.

I guess i was just trying to highlight a problem with this recent tragedy.

And as you said, my thoughts and prayers are with this young woman and her family.
