Funny I got married as well at the Waquassett Inn back in 2006 and I didn't know about the Jackie K connection.
It is true about celebrities here, they are just like normal folk except Obama. I was living on MV when he came for a vacation both times and he sure shut down traffic on the island every time he went out for ice cream. One time at the MV airport, a great place to have lunch at the "plane view" I saw Ted Danskin and Mary Stemburgin (sorry for the spellings) both live on MV and I swear they were picking up Burt Reynolds who had just flown in. Barbara Walters has an amazing house out there and the late Mike Wallace used to live on island. For you NE folks Bob Villa had a stunning place in Chilmark. Also Spike Lee and Oprah were known to visit Oak Bluffs. You never know who you might bump into which is kinda fun. The guy next to you at a bar might be billionaire. Very low key for the rich and celebrities.
The rich and famous aside I know you will enjoy your visit Roxie.
