Do you know if the school boundaries have changed since 2003-04? I am interested in the high schools,Newton North or South. We will be between Hammond Pkwy and Commonwealth Ave.

It looks like north of Beacon Street, it is Newton North High School.

Both high schools are very good. We swim against Newton (can't remember if it's Newton South or North but they both use NN pool). NS got a facelift not too long ago and now it's NN's turn. There were some issues with the override passing and then NN was in danger of losing its accredidation because the facility was in such bad shape. But I think they got their funding so you can look forward to some construction but the upside is that it's sorely needed.

My new landlord (I wish there was another name to use) said the construction should be done next year. His daughter is a junior, a cheerleader, and is going to show my son around campus when he gets there. Not a bad start!

Congratulation....

Welcome....

If you do go to Atrium Mall... try Le's (Vietnam noodles) at the bottom floor (best deal in town...$6) and then dessert... Cheese cake at the cheesecake factory back on the street level.

If you love sushi... Oishii...(all 13 seats?)... get there early or it is at least an half hour wait... If you are not as particular... try Green Tea Restaurant on Elliot St./Rt9 for Chinese and Japanese (even dim sum brunch on weekends).

For Italian... Appetito in newton center is great.. then JP licks for ice cream.

Mmm, that's my favorite Friday night routine ... Appetito for dinner and JP Licks for ice cream while sitting on some benches watching our daughter play around.
