I am considering accepting a short term job in Cambridge and am looking for suggestions as to where I might find a suitable living location (about $800/month) that would allow me to use the commuter rail (metro, subway, underground, etc). Any suggestions? My initial searching suggests Waltham and/or Watertown. Also, most of these places require a 12 month lease...I am looking for something shorter -- six or eight months. I am married and will be going home to Connecticut on the weekends. Recommendations are most appreciated. Thanks in advance!
