Default Bus service in Weymouth?

My husband, daughter and I are moving to the area in a few weeks for his new job. We have pretty well decided on Weymouth, due to fairly easy commute on subway for DH into S. Cambridge, locality of Christian school for daughter.

My question is, other than Greenbush line, and subway (from Braintree) is there any public bus service available in Weymouth? The reason I ask is that I am legally blind, and can't drive. In searching for rentals, I have run across mentions of bus service, but doing google searches, and seraches on here, I can't find anything. I am perfectly capable of using the regular bus, so don't really need paratransit.

Also if anyone has any tips for disabled people living in the area, I'd appreciate it! I don't go out a lot, but I like to know whether the service is there or not, so I can plan accordingly. We are currently near San Francisco, CA, and all of our family is here in CA, so I will be a long way from any help :-)

There are at least 2 buses that go into Quincy from East Weymouth; there may be more, but I have only ever seen these two. Here are the links:

MBTA > Schedules & Maps > Bus > 222 - Quincy Center Station - East Weymouth via Bicknell Square
MBTA > Schedules & Maps > Bus > 225 - Quincy Center - Weymouth Landing via Quincy Ave. & Shaw St. or Desmoines Road

Good luck with your move!
