Question Pre-K's in Dudley

Hi folks!

My wife and I will be relocating to the Dudley area at the end of November. Anyone have recommendations on good 4-yr-old pre-K programs in the area? We're not looking for day care (my wife stays home with our kids), just looking to give our daughter something to do like three days a week. We're in a pre-K program at our current location, and it's gotten her used to the structured setting she'll get when she starts public school next fall.

Also, anyone have thoughts on the Dudley schools? I've read that they are OK, just wanted to know if anyone had any first-hand (or even second-hand?) experience.

Thanks in advance! Steve

Default Pre K in Dudley

Dudley has a pre k program run through the public school system, I believe it runs on a lottery and until last year I believe it was free. It takes place at the pk-1 school, Mason Road School, check it out online. The charge now is very reasonable. You would need to call the Superintendent's office to get more info. I believe it is a good program. I live in a great neighborhood with many children that have gone through the program. I work so I needed to find other arrangements for my children, as the program runs for 1/2 days and you need to provide transportation!

Good Luck!
