There are no cheap hotels around Boston... but the Red Roof Inns are pet friendly and the closest one that I know of is right off the Natick exit along the Mass Pike. As for dog kennels, I take mine with me.

Seriously? What town do you live in? Is your land open or fenced in?

We will be arriving early, before our move in date so....we either need a good kennel or an inexpensive pet friendly hotel for two or three days.

I think that Red Roof Inn would be convenient for you. It's about a mile north of Rte. 9. And Rte. 9 east will take you right in to the Chestnut Hill area. There are lots of restaurants and stores in the area. And it is safe too.

Everytime I go back home to visit my parents, I see deer the in the backyard. I just go outside and start screaming and chasing them. Seriously.. they're so confused that they just run away. I hope the day never comes when they figure out they can run me over and start to chase me instead.
