Just got a call from Puffle !!!! She just crossed the border into Texas and has already completed 1,080 miles of her 3,000 mile journey from Bakersfield, California to Newton, Mass. She sounded a bit road weary on the phone and advised me not to drive, but to fly across country because it's easier. I guess the monotony of the road gets on you after a while. I did one cross country trip alone in 1999, but i guess I forget how much work it really was.
