On paper we should have lost that game. 146 yards in penalties!! Nuts!! But a "W" is a "W" and I'll take it!!!

We have a bye next week. Watch out NFL. We're storming back in the second half of the season. Superbowl here we come!!

The number of penalties against the Pats in last night’s game reminded me of the Stealers/Seahawks Superbowl game. There were so many penalties against the Seahawks and hardly any against the Stealers. I got the feeling the refs wanted the Stealers to win. I really thought it was unfair. In last night's game I felt the same way. It seemed like the officials were just watching the Pats and not the Colts. The Pats didn't have that many penalties called against them in their 1st 8 games! I am so glad the Pats won regardless of the number of penalties called against them.

Granted, a win is a win, but as for the calls, I disagree. There was one call that I questioned, the pass interference against Ellis Hobbs. That was a good play and I did not see the interference. But, inelligable man down field, neutral zone infractions, unsportsman-like conduct, and so on. They were not the Patriots that I expected to see in this game. Yes, there was a couple of tough calls, maybe, but certainly not all of them!! Belichick is going to crucify these guys over the next two weeks.

I wasn't saying that I didn't think they deserved the calls. They were probably justified, however; I can't imagine that the Colts were playing as squeaky clean as they number of calls against them indicated. The number of calls against the Pats far exceeded the ones against the Colts. It seemed like the refs were just looking at what the Pats were doing wrong and not the Colts.

That Ellis Hobbs call was ridiculous. He played the ball and read the route better than Reggie Wayne. The other horrible call was the offensive pass interference on Moss.

The pats offensive line didn't protect Brady too well. The rush defense didn't play well in the first half but was better in the second half. And that screen pass to Addai at the end of the 2nd quarter should have never resulted in any points.

To pull out a great win like that in Indy showed how good the patriots are though.
