Default abington - any opinions

Hello,

After looking enough for commuter friendly, kids friendly suburb, affordable area (~300K condo), we settled on Abington , did we make right choice?? Please post your opinion. How is the community and resale value in abington,

Thanks for your opinion,

I don't know anything about the town, but here are a few quick properties I looked up as far as resale value:
917 THAYER ST #917: Bought in 2006 for $347k; On the market now for $295k.
319 HAMPTON WAY #319: Bought in 2004 for $364k; On the market now for $316k.
105 THAYER STREET #105: Bought in 2003 for $290k; On the market now for $300k.

Doesn't look like Abington held up well during the real estate bust -- and who knows how much further values will decline in this town.
