Burlington, MA- info please
Hello everyone!
We are thinking about moving to Burlington, MA. Are schools good there? Is it safe? Are there sidewalks in neighborhoods? Parks? recreational areas? How bad are blizzards? What do you like and dislike about this town?
Thank you so much,
Natalia

Burlington is very nice. A very nice mall (Burlington Mall), places to eat (chain and local resturaunts), movies, etc. The neighborhood is very nice, quiet, and you can find old homes to brand new $800K homes. School system is decent, I haven't heard any complaints. People like it for all those things and proximity to Boston.

Thank you for your reply. How is Burlington affected by hurricanes and tropical storms? Are there any other natural disasters? Tornadoes? Earthquakes?
Thank you!

I have to giggle at hurricanes and tropical storms in Burlington. There is no such thing. Just icy roads and cold in the winter will be your worst case scenario.

Well, that sounds very good. Now, is there anything wrong with Burlington? I know there is always something.

just traffic on 128. Outside of that, I really couldn't say much bad about it. I guess I could say the food at Rainforest Cafe isn't that great. The WICKED AWESOME attitude/accent may get on your nerves if you ain't from THEAH.
The thing I used to really enjoy was doing about 120mph between Burlington and Stoneham/Reading on 128 at night. Never any cops through there. Newbury records was there when I lived there too, loved that place.
