There are pros and cons to planned communities with HOAs. Here in AZ, you'd really have a hard time avoiding them if you want to be in the best school systems. It looks like such neighborhoods are not so dominant in most of what I've seen in MA. Still not sure if we're accepting this job. Lots to think about.
