A co-worker just came back from her vacation in the area and sent me a picture of the "oldest Portuguese Church" (that is what the tour guide said) in Gloucester, MA. I am looking for some information on this.
Can you help?
WWW is not helping me find any info.

Default Has to be Our Lady of Good Voyage!

Yes, Portuguesekid, Julz is right about Our Lady of Good Voyage, probably the most beautiful church I've ever seen. I lived on Cape Ann for 8 years, and loved the sight of this church. It's a Mission-style white stucco church, built in 1893. It has beautiful blue trim and twin blue domes. There is a statue of the Virgin Mary as patroness of the fishermen, cradling a ship in her arms. In the early 1900's, there was a fire which destroyed much of the church, which was then rebuilt. It is located on Prospect Street on Portuguese Hill, where many of the Portuguese Catholic fishermen and their families lived. Hope you get a chance to visit this church and Cape Ann, home of two beautiful towns, Gloucester and Rockport. It's really a beautiful and charming area.
