So anyone living there this place ever worried about it being a superfund site leaking chemicals into the ground water? My research shows that Cape has sandy soils so that is pretty easy infiltration.
I've read numerous threads about cancer rates being higher in the cape and things add up that Military wastes plus groundwater equals cancer.
I'm planning to move near the county fair grounds soon but I'm doing my research and this might be non negotiable unfortunately with a new baby.
I'd probably end up drinking filtered water I capture off my roof!
Doesn't most of that part of the Cape get their water supply from the mainland in SE Mass? Only way your chance of cancer increases is if you swim in local contaminated ponds, but even that seems pretty unlikely.
