That doesn't surprise me one bit. Seems every Jewish person I know in the Boston area lives in an expensive town, so most of the wealthy towns have more than 1 synagogue. Finding a synagogue in a less wealthy town is hit or miss.
We attended a Bar Mitzvah at the one in Westwood which isn't too far from Foxborough. Also, I know that services are held somewhere in Franklin, I don't know if they actually have their own building yet but it's coming.

While slightly changing, Randolph has long been one of the most Jewish towns in the state. I believe there are 2 synagogues still. Many of them originally migrated there from Mattapan (also not exactly wealthy). Stoughton has a lot, even Brockton does.

The wealthiest members of every faith will build and maintain the house of worship in or near the town they are living in. That does not mean every member of their faith is affluent. I know many Jewish people from middle class and working class town such as Revere, Lowell, Chelmsford, Framingham.

This is the temple I was thinking of when I made my earlier post. My cousin's younger kids had Bat Mitzvahs a few weeks ago and I was sitting in the temple actually thinking about this thread.
