Hi Jim, I don't live in Sharon, but there is a train depot there. You can catch the train from South Station in Boston. You can get a subway car to South station from Logan Airport. I should add that you take the Providence train line - it stops in Sharon.

OK, I've got to ask: other than family and/or friends, what attracts someone from the UK to visit Sharon, MA? It is a pleasant but unremarkable Boston suburb, not unlike many others. Why Sharon? Is there something I'm missing about this town?

Very touching, and a lovely way to remember someone.

You'll find the town of Sharon, MA to be a quiet and attractive suburb of Boston. The town is known for being an open and tolerant community--it is home to a large Jewish community and a diverse assortment of 18 houses of worship (Catholic, Protestant, Jewish, and Muslim). The town's most prominent geographic feature is it's lovely Lake Massapoag, in the center of town.
