You shouldn't have a problem in that price range. I would say Bourne and Falmouth are your best bets if she wants to be on the Cape. Wareham would be even cheaper but she'd have to cross the bridge every day to get to the Coast Guard Base. In my opinion if she wants to be close and stay in this budget Bourne is your best bet. You can go on Craigslist and search for apartments or even contact a Realtor who specializes in rentals. Bear in mind, if she comes in the summer the rents are going to be higher than in the winter but I think $850 will get her a small place in Bourne. I don't know of any specific apartments since I moved out of there in September but I would do some research.

Um I would think Otis since it's on the Cape and a Coast Guard base. Why would you think Humarock or Arbucle?

Duh, that's right, the AIR station. That would be Otis AFB. I was thinking Humarock in Marshfield because I used to know so many Coasties that worked there back "in the day". Sorry, I am a blonde and I do have many moments! Have you decided if she's going to go solo? June will be a beautiful time to arrive down here. When I say "here", I mean from Plymouth on down! It's so close that distance means nothing.

I actually used to live in Marshfield about 1 mile from the Bridgeway Inn. I used to go to the Coast Guard base and roam around too. They had a game room there actually. I actually used to ride my bike down there and that is quite a little haul as you know.

There is also a website yearroundrentalsdotcom where owners post their own rentals. You can search by town. I'll do some checking for you too.

You must hate being a Realtor on the Cape. I know so many Realtors on the Cape and the market is just terrible there. Plus, the people there are a different breed I think. So many of them have never left the Cape. I feel for you in regards to being a Realtor there.
