Lynn. No one will notice. Call BFI or a trash hauler. Then they can take it to Lynn.

Give Arlo Guthrie a call and see if he has any suggestions. I believe he's got some experience in this area.

Good luck moving in a snowstorm.

Monday is a holiday so your trash pickup will be on Tuesday. Just leave the bags on the curb, that's pretty typical when moving.

Personally, I would be less than happy if someone left their trash in front of my new house for four days. Also, most P&S contracts have a clause that says the property is to be left "broom clean" and "all of seller's personal belongings are to be removed from the premises." Leaving your trash on the curb would technically be a violation of most contracts. Unless someone told me at the walk through that the trash pick up was later that day or the next day, it would not be acceptable to me were I the buyer.

I would pack it all in my vehicle and drive around late at night behind strip malls and use their dumpsters. If in Belmont, try Waltham and Watertown, maybe even Arlington. They are loaded with strip malls and dumpsters.

Go to a local business with a dumpster. Offer then $20 cash to use their dumpster.

Be tacky (as many do) and put it in Goodwill donations boxes.

If none of the above work, I would call my realtor (Mike) and tell him to come get it otherwise the closing might not happen.....and he might not get his commission.. Hey Mikey....come get it.....LOL

All kidding aside. I compliment you on being concerned and wanting to do it properly.

At that point, I would call 1-800-GOT-JUNK and have them send the invoice to your new address. Voila! It's all taken care of.

Oh my God, please delete that. You don't want to give anyone that idea, even if you WERE kidding.

Kidding or not, sorry to say many do it. I had a business on a main road. Was not uncommon for me to come to the shop and find bags dumped behind it. Typically yard waste so no way to identify the person.

City will hand out fine if trash are put out on the curb before 5pm one day before collection day.

OP can haul the trash to their new residence if it isn't so much. Some cities even limit the amount of trash being collected. Call 800-GOT-JUNK.
