495 is right that they do pop up here in Sharon but usually you do need to put some upfront work into them and the taxes are so high in Sharon that your actual total pmt is comparable to a more expensive town. So the overall pmt in this case would put op out of their budget in this case w Sharon.

Or if you lived north of the city, you could both take the train into North Station and he could continue on the Green Line. But your budget for house buying really limits your options around here. This isn't a cheap area to buy a place, I'm afraid.
