Around my way not so many houses for sale as there are dumpsters in driveways and contractor vehicles everywhere. My late neighbor's son across the street is fixing up the house to sell. Nothing had been done to it for almost 30 years, if not more. But that's business as usual in my area

The houses that are for sale either haven't moved or there's been a "sale pending" for awhile.

Lots coming on the market on Cape from what I've seen in the paper but that's pretty typical this time of year. Maybe CC Todd know specifically if inventory is up over last year.

There are homes that hit the market every year in May and come off in October- someone just waiting for their price.

Also seeing lots of new construction and additions in our neck of the woods. It was fairly steady through the downturn but now it seems to be picking up at a frantic pace.

I usually watch how units in my condo building sell when they come up for sale. Out of 82 units, usually only 1 is for sale, and only lasts a month or so before it's sold. Priced are steadily climbing too.

I only watch because I intend to sell my unit soon and judging the waters now.
