Hi again -

It was DELICIOUS.

Creatively and perfectly prepared, beautiful presentation.

I had scallops, and often they end up overdone or underdone, and these were absolutely perfect.

I don't know that the seafood's necessarily better or worse in Boston/Baltimore, but I'm sure what they're serving is very fresh. Also, you have different stuff available up there... we don't harvest scallops here. Well, we do, but not as an industry, per se.

We did get a chuckle, though, that they had Maryland Rockfish (striped bass) on the menu.

My only complaint was that it was SO loud in there! The acoustics, I guess. Fortunately we were in a corner so could hear better once seated.

Last Sunday night we ate at I think it was Fishladder? In Quincy Mkt area, and it was good, but didn't hold a candle to Atlantic Fish. Just as or more expensive, too.

For Top of the Hub, we just took the elevator all the way up. It was mobbed, and we knew it would take forever to get a drink order in. Since we were stuffed from dinner (and already half in the bag from the yummy wine and after dinner drinks) we didn't want/need a drink anyway, so just walked around and right up to windows and looked out. It was gorgeous. and free!

Wish the househunting had gone as well, but that's for another post.

We've lined up a short-term rental throught June, extendable if we need it. Hopefully our house will sell here and it won't be too long.

It's a great house, with a view of the water, even! Three cheers for craigslist!
