I didn't think you were being snippy at all so no need to apologize. Local talk and dialects, local history, local knowledge, I love that stuff. I would be so out of place in NJ and I would say all the wrong things. It's fun though. People from Boston say they live in "town"--town? Boston is no town to me so at first I didn't know what they were talking about. I'm from western Mass and most people on here don't truly understand what that means even though they think they do. It's fun trying to explain the differences.
