Get used to those mountains sized snow drifts made by the plows. Usually we don't see them this size until Jan or Feb, but this year has been very snowy. Remnants of those piles *could* be around until June and no, I'm not kidding!

Just wait 'til it all melts (April? May?) There is nothing like "mud season" in New England!

Of the 20+ years in the years here.... I have never never seen snow fallen in Dec, Jan or Feb melts June.... they are gone in March...

The temperature in Boston usually is above freezing during the day. With only 40-50 inches of average snowfall in a season... they are gone quickly within a month.... in many cases within a week.

With the "mud season"... we're just ducky

Much of the snow melted here-- though enough remained to make it officially a 'White Christmas'


Weather ahead looks mild here in Connecticut; 40s by day 30 by night- not too hard to take!!
