I am....almost

. I waited until yesterday and today to get most of my shopping done. I still have to make a short trip to WallyWorld tomorrow for stocking stuffers.
I find that I've spent less this year. With the cost of gas, heating oil, etc. I just don't have as much disposable cash. I've received calls from relatives and friends who have said the same and have been embarrassed to say that they are not buying gifts for people they have in the past. Not hurting my feelings! I just enjoy their company and the fact that they're around me and my children.
My daughter got her first taste this year of buying her own gifts with her own money from her first job. She said she was having a blast. "It's fun giving your own gifts", she said. She was very frugal, but put a lot of thought into them. I was very proud of her.
Do you find that you have spent less on the Holidays/Christmas this year? And, maybe because we're all in the same boat, getting back to the true meaning of the Season?
