Hi! My husband, daughter and I just moved to Wrentham from out of state. We are totally new and unfamiliar with the area and are looking for recommendations for just about everything! Can anyone recommend, most importantly; pediatricians, doctors, dentists, activity/sport centers, but also things like hair and nail salons, shops, must-sees, etc. that a mom of an 8 1/2 year old would need?!
We are used to having to travel approximately 1/2 hour to get to places we preferred, so any recommendations in Wrentham, as well as any surrounding towns, would be GREATLY appreciated!! Thanks!!

Wrentham is a nice small town. It's also in a pretty good location and located very close to a lot of things.

Two big things that you're very close to are the Wrentham Village Outlets and also Patriots Place. The Wrentham Outlets offers a ton of shopping, while Patriots Place offers a good amount of shopping along with some dining and entertainment options.

For food shopping you will be well covered by neighboring towns. Franklin has a Stop & Shop, a Shaws and a Big Y. Foxboro has a Stop & Shop and also a Trader Joe's (located at Patriots Place). Plainville has a Stop & Shop as well.

Don't forget to check out the Big Apple (located in Wrentham). Late summer and early fall is a great time to head over there for apple picking, hay rides and to shop in their store. The Bass Pro Shop, located at Patriots Place, usually has seasonal things going on that could be nice to checkout.

When the weather is nice, you can head over to Lake Pearl (in Wrentham) to go swimming.

I cannot recommend a pediatrician as I do not have any kids.

Really there are a good number of things located in a pretty short radius from Wrentham.

Pediatric Specialists of Foxborough & Wrentham is right in the center of town on South Street. There is also a large practice, Pediatric Assoc. in Franklin and they have an office in Norwood, too.

Tons of hair/nail salons in Franklin.

For doctors, you can also check out the Brigham and Womens in Foxborough. If also is an urgent care center open till 8pm, so its actually useful.
There is also a new nice looking medical center being constructed in Pine st in Norfolk. Not sure when its going to open, but it may be worth checking out.

OP, I forgot to mention that tomorrow is Wrentham Day. Activities all day on the common and a road race.

Is that the one at Patriot Place?

OP, there is also a whole foods in Bellingham (495 @ 126) and a Market Basket & Walmart across the street. It's not the nicest Walmart, but most Walmarts in MA are pretty crappy...
PetSmart, OldNavy, and a movie theatre right there too.
No one has mentioned Emerald Square Mall in North Attleborough (295 @ 1)

Sports:
Franklin does a bunch of community sports. Wrentham does some.
There's a ice rink off 1 either just inside Foxborough or just inside Walpole
Wrentham State Forest has lots of hiking and MTB trails. Gilbert Hills forest in Foxborough too.

Also, welcome to the area and state!
I just started a job in Franklin a couple weeks ago and also am going to be moving to the area early next year - commute from Worcester isn't too bad, but after school care doesn't go late enough!

That ice rink is on Rte. 1 in Walpole.

There are skating rinks in Norfolk and Franklin.

Norfolk Arena

Franklin – Pirelli Veterans Arena | FMC Ice Sports

The reason I didn't mention the Emerald Square Mall is because it's gotten sort of seedy.
