Where can I find property's public record (including tax, lot size, sft...) online? Registry of Deeds (http://www.masslandrecords.com/malr/controller - broken link)doesn't provide the info I am looking for.

In our town (Walpole) there is the Tax accessors data base. I am sure other towns use the same system. You can search by name, address, plot number and find all the relevant info i.e. assessed value, taxes, size, year, names. We even even pictures and plot plans. Good Luck!

you realize that the information recorded is not always 100% accurate. Many town websites have their own database.

What information are you looking for?

If the town doesn't have an on-line database, a visit to the Assessor's office to get the field card should give you all the info you're looking for.

Try this: Vision Appraisal Technology, it may have what you're looking for.
Many New England towns are listed. If you can't find what you're looking for, the town way have its own site.

just the google "the towns assessor data" most are online except for some small towns in berkshire county - you can always go to the town hall and get a field card for a dollar. You dont have to be the property owner. If you know a RE agent you can ask if they will get you B&T print out from MLS

Thanks so much for all your help! Unfortunately the town I am looking for doesn't provide that sort of info online. I'll probably need to go to the town hall or ask my agent friend's help.
