Need to find a restaurant South of Boston (I'm in Raynham) with great steak. Also, if it would be good for anniversary (kind of fancy, but not overly) that'd be great.

Thanks.

What about the Stone Forge in Raynham? They have a lot of steak on the menu.

Hmm. If you want to buy one then here

Products - Roxie's of Quincy

Try as I might after living here all my life I can't think of that many places where the steak really stands out. Longhorn is a chain and to me the go crazy with the salt.I like Capital Grill but it's $$$

Reminds me a few years ago of someone telling me that the steak is going downhill at Friendly's? Who the #@%^ gets a steak at Friendly's? That's like buying stereo equipment at CVS..you can do it sure but why?

Looking for something with a bit of a drive (maybe 10-20 mins away).

Been to Stone Forge, wasn't bad. I've always been curious about Benjamin's. Thought it was just for functions from driving by, but I'll look into it.

No, Benjamin's is a restaurant open to the public. It used to be really good, not sure how it is now. The last time we were there I thought it had gone downhill.

You might want to look into restaurants in Providence.

How is Davio's in Patriot Place? The one in Boston was always good.

I don't know. We were given a gift certificate to Davio's but we haven't used it yet. I don't really like steak.

Davios is a great restaurant. It's an Italian steakhouse so if you just want a plain steak it might not be the best choice. If you're willing to drive into Providence, I highly recommend 10 Steak & Sushi. There are of course plenty of good steakhouses in Boston as well.
