I was born in Ware's Mary Lane Hospital in 1977 in Worcester County. I was wondering what the community looks like now? Is it still a sleepy town?

I apologize. Although I haven't spent much of any time there I know people from Ware and I get the impression it is still a sleepy town.

I knew that joke was coming soon.

I'm not sure how much Ware as changed since 1977, probably little things here and there like most towns. I think Ware is still quite rural and hasn't changed that dramatically.

I passed through Ware in October and it's still a sleepy town. There are some closed-down mills that may have been open 30 years ago or maybe not. Here are a few photos to give a sense of what it looks like today:

I lived there in the 80s and it was a sleepy town then. The cinema burned down and was left as an eyesore for a long time until the owner was finally forced to clean it up. They started showing movies there but I don't know if they still do. The town was sort of rundown and is cut off from the wider world by Quabbin (see third set of photos above).

A friend went out there the other day and she says it's still exactly the same as it was when I lived there.

alot has actaully changed in the past year, they built a new walgreens next to the post office and down on boston road they just opened lowes. i heard they are planning to put in either a restaurant or bank in that little area too. cvs is moving a little bit down the road, they are building a bigger building right now.

i am 25, i am from ware i go out there to visit my parents every week. i live in easthampton now. Ware is still kind of boring. we got a walmart super center and thats pretty much it there putting up a new cvs, and they just put in a Lowes in the same parkinglot as wal mart. There trying to build up the town slowly. main street is still the same not much happening there at all. I dont know when was the last time you were there but a few years back they put up new schools. I find the only thing to do out there is go four wheeling up coys hill, and behind my parents on osborne rd. other than that it pretty much bores me lol. If anyone knows where else to ride four wheelers in the ware area let me know!! thanks
