Where to live - Commute to Back Bay and Springfield

Thanks for all your suggestions. Any apartment complexes you can recommend in these places. Found some in Westborough and Shrewsbury. Can't seem to find any rentals in Hopkinton. Are brokers the way to go for renting a place?

Like some people have said. Shrewsbury/Westboro area would be a good bet. From both you have the option of driving or taking the MBTA to back bay (just over an hour via train to back bay, probably about 1:15 to drive in), and the drive to Springfield will take you about an hour with rarely any traffic to speak of.

For MBTA, Shrewsbury would likely be the Grafton stop (which is just on the Grafton / Shrewsbury line) and Westboro would be the Westboro stop.

Thank you everyone for your reply. Still have not found anything in our budget in the suggested places. The search continues.

One thing of note - 2 bedroom/2 baths are not very common here. In fact, it was a HUGE perk in a previous 3 bedroom apartment that there was a tiiiiiiny half bath off of the kitchen built in under the stairs. You had to lean forward to sit on the toilet. :P It might not be your budget as much as the general availability.
