For the most part I agree, no all out surprises. Ipswich is a semi-surprise. There are some towns I would have expected to see on the list based on population size and grittiness and didn't: Methuen, Tewksbury, Woburn and Billerica.

Well it's a statewide epidemic., so not EVERYPLACE can make the list.

Yes, Ipswich is a surprise. So is West Bridgewater, but I'm shocked at Ipswich.

No surprise, these are the places that got hit with bad batches (usually cut with fentanyl), where that happens, more ODs happen.

Falmouth, Malden, Winthrop and Saugus surprised me.


Falmouth is a nice resort style town and the others are nice burbs of Boston. I expected ghetto places like Brockton, Haverhill, Lowell but not those.

Methuen has always had a bad rep and is cursed/destined by location to be a barrio
