Does anyone know the best train station to use to get to Boston from Boxford?

Boxford lies smack in the middle of the Newburyport and Haverhill line. You'll have to consider which station is most convenient to your house, whether you need parking or not, and of course which one has the schedule that works for you. If you are not familiar with where each of the stations are located, go to the MBTA website, click on Schedules & Maps --> Commuter Rail. Then click on the tab for Interactive Street Map to get a visual on which station is closest to your house.

I would say the Rowley station just not sure what the schedule is. The Haverhill and Bradford stops might be farther away than Rowley. You can even check out Ipswich? The Lawrence train station is close to North Andover but I believe that's even farther than going to Rowley.

Boxford is quite spread out. Depending on where exactly you are coming from, the Bradford, Rowley or Salem stops may be best for you.

I wouldn't suggest Haverill or Rowley because you'd have a longer train ride. Obviously it depends on where you live in Boxford, but I was thinking Andover, Wenham or anything south of that. The ride to those 2 stations is a couple minutes longer than going to Haverhill/Rowley, but you save a good 15-20 minutes on the shorter train ride.

Thanks for the info, it does make sense to head to a station to the south.
