OK...and her qualification to be President is what...that she's married to an ex-President who couldn't keep his pants on in the oval office? She was a carpetbagger when she ran in NY in 2000, trading on her name. As a native NYer, I'm ashamed that my native state would elect someone to be Senator who never lived in NY, didn't know the state, and had ZERO qualifications to be its Senator when elected.

She has been a Senator for 7 years now...name one major accomplishment during her time in office? If her name was Hillary Smith or if she was a man, she wouldn't get a second thought.

Same goes for Obama. What has he done in office? If he wasn't black, would he be getting the attention he's gotten. Doubt it.

Many people, especially the under-educated and younger voters, don't look at qualifications and platforms, they just see looks, ethnicity, sex, and jump on a bandwagon. Unfortunately, that applies to both parties. The media don't help either, given their political biases, and the fact that all they want is a 30 sec soundbite. The media whips up the candidate they like, such as Obama, and soon uninformed people vote for them because if CNN says he's the best candidate, then it must be true.

What do you mean that I am wrong? It's been on the news since yesterday (Monday), but just not officially announced.

There never is going to be the perfect candidate- in many cases the vote comes down to party lines and/or the lesser of both evils.

Who was a better President- Clinton or GW? I don't think I have to put a poll up here to answer that one

I guess that depends on your definition and criteria for a successful President and presidency. I'm not saying GWB is perfect, and we could discuss his faults for hours, but Clinton failed at the #1 responsibility of a President, and that's to defend the nation. Al Quaeda grew in the 1990's and attacked the US no less than 4 times during the Clinton terms (1st WTC, Kobhar Towers, Embassy bombings, USS Cole), while declaring jihad on the US. What did Clinton do to protect us and destroy AQ? Not much, and in fact he treated it like a law enforcement problem and built walls between the FBI and the intel community. He refused to take risks (to protect his own butt) to stop Bin Laden, and what was the result...9/11.

Lol. Don't I wish. But when people say they want change they still elect the politicians from the "same guard". None of the other politicians are really offering anything different this year from any other year or presidential election. They basically just read from a script and stick to saying the same things...well that is the advice from their advisors.
