You have to feel for the Pats players, they deserved to go undefeated. Can't say the same for some of the Big Mouth fans, you got what you deserved.
On the brighter side you won't have to put up with the parade traffic like those poor folks in NYC.
I feel bad for players like Seau who have battled in the league for all those years. I don't feel bad for the people that treated my Giants like a junior-varsity team. The local media had reporters outside of the dome 2 weeks ago- speculating and talking about the parade, 19-0, if they are the best team ever etc...
And I also don't feel bad for my colleagues that razzed me for 2 weeks straight. Guess what- YOU LOST!!!!
Perhaps the worst of this $^@& Super Bowl fluke is that this guy will never go away. Now we can only hope that nobody wins even 8 or 9 to start a season or they will bring him out of oblivion (and talk ad nauseaum about last night's debacle).
I didn't have a dog in this fight being neither a Pats nor a Giants fan. But I have to say that the Patriots looked flat. They didn't play their normal game. Of course that could be because the Giants shut down their offense, completely stymied Brady and the Pats don't have a running game and at best they have a fair defense. The Giants may not have an all star quarterback or any other really flashy players but they have a reliable offense, a good defense, they can run the ball or throw it. Slow and steady wins the race!
