I feel like Windsor is a bit more valid than Bloomfield but there are a good number of towns in Boston with Middle class African American populations, say over 15% of the school..both Brockton and Randolph high are 60% African american out of a combined population of 4,900 students. Windsor and Bloomfield have 1,600 students combined...that being said the CT towns are more middle class but i think it is a stretch to say this would be much easier in Connecticut. The sad reality is finidng middle class African American communities in New England is difficult. Youre best off in the urban core oft he boston area and Southwestern CT imo.
Bloomfield actually has a black median household income that would be viewed as middle class. Bloomfield School District Population and Races - USA.com™

Nearby Windsor has such areas as well: Windsor School District Population and Races - USA.com™

So, the continuous Bloomfield/southern Windsor area just north of Hartford may be the best example of a predominantly black and middle class area. That area has about 35,000 people or so.

CT and MA are the best bets to find such communities. Not sure if RI has something close.

Definitely Hyde Park. But it's lower middle class.

Depends on the section of HP. Many HP single family homes are selling upwards of 450k now. Anyone who is affording that isn't lower middle class even by boston standards.
