Here are a few shots I took on a recent visit to Massachusetts, including the towns of Salem, Marblehead and a few from Plymouth & Fall River. We had a fantastic time and can't wait to go back and visit one of the most interesting places in the world. I'll start with Salem (where we stayed), but I'll post more from other towns later.

Salem:

Thanks for the lovely pics of my old stomping grounds (Salem) and one of my favorite day trips (Plymouth)! Glad you enjoyed them as much as I do. Come back soon.

Newbie here. Just thought I'd play too since I have a few pics I've taken around the city of Boston from time to time. Hello!

The stairs leading up to the Outbound side of Charles Street Station on the Red Line

The elevator was broken on the Inbound side at Charles Street Station.

Standing on the corner of Washington and Milk Street at Downtown Crossing, Boston. Looking down towrds the theater district.

Washington and Milk looking the other way. That old building on the corner is the Old South Meeting House.

Weymouth, MA! The wee morning hours on Washington Street in Weymouth.

Park Street Church, Boston ~ just after rush hour. Right smack dab in the middle of the street you can see the big yellow amphibeous vehicle for The Boston Duck Tours. I personally think the Duck Tour is the best tour in the city. Takes you both on land and in the water.

A rainy day in Boston. This was on the corner of State & Congress Street. There was a gas leak that day and the local gas company was frantic trying to fix old pipes in the street. Police were out directing traffic and I was waiting for a bus on the corner. That funny looking building in the middle in the distance is Boston's City Hall.

Down at Haymarket Station. Those glass structures there in the middle are a Holocaust Memorial. Inside are inscripted the names of all the folks who lost their lives through that. There are inscriptions written along the walkway through. Very moving.

The Bell in Hand and the Union Oyster House. The oldest tavern and the oldest restaurant in the United States.

And that's it. Just thought I'd share.

Excellent pics! Hard to believe I used to walk through these same streets for 10 years. A treat to see them again. Thank you!
