Default cape real estate values

i keep hearing conflicting reports about a couple of issues. apparently, home values on the cape are falling farther and more rapidly than the rest of MA. does this have more to do with:

a previously overheated market;
the air force radar installation, denials about related health issues notwithstanding;
rising sea levels;
other?

Default Haven't seen much sign of dramatically falling prices

on the Lower Cape (Provincetown on down to Chatham). Prices have softened a bit, but nothing to get too excited about.

Radar issue?? Nah.

Rising sea level? Don't think so.

Anyway, just punch in Realtor dot Com and see what's happening to house prices.

Depends on the town. Condo's have taken more of a hit than single families. The towns with higher inventories (and condos) have taken a harder hit.
