Default Beautiful Day in Concord

For you out-of-towners, here is a picture of how the Concord area looked today. The heavy rain and warmer air has melted much of the snow as you can see!

are there nice condos in Concord? If we move to the area I don't want a house since we will be empty nesters. I remember Concord as being very nice when I lived in the area( Natick and Boston) in 1978-1981.

I don't want to live in a town house community geared to singles and people who can't afford a home. I want a nice townhouse or condo with access to shopping, running trails and other 50 ish people like us.

You got it debbiedo! I live in Concord Greene and there are several other TH complexes in the Concord area. Two bed/two bath condo will be in the low $300's here. The TH have one car garages and the condos have covered parking with storage. It also has tennis/pool/recycling and walking distance to great shops and the train.

thanks Puffle.

don't know if we will be moving but I am researching options. I feel we could downsize even if my teenage son commutes to college and lives with us. This won't be until summer 2009. I just don't want my husband to take a job if we can't find an area we would want to live in. Honestly I loved the Boston area when I did live there. I loved living in Boston and loved the Natick and Framingham area too but I am sure it has changed.

I am a runner and want to be where I can have easy access to safe running and a good club where there are group runs and social networking with runners. I hate to move from here because I have wonderful friends and my other two sons would still be here so hard decisions to make in the future.

Enjoy spring when it comes. It always does.
