Looking to relocate to seaside MA. Was wondering comparing Marblehead and Manchester, which one is more asthetic and better climate, safer, etc...We're retired and looking for a place with a great ocean view possibly a harbour and nice little shops. Upscale but not snoby OK. Would appreciate any advice.

You're so fortunate! I would love to live by the ocean on the North Shore. I have friends who live overlooking Gloucester Harbor and just love that rocky shore. Crime is quite low in both Marblehead & Manchester and I don't think there's much of any difference in climate. They're both terrific. I love the small town feel of Manchester and it seems less touristy both both are beautiful communities. Happy shopping! :-)
