I moved here to Monroe, MA in August. We have had our share of snow this winter. Here are some pictures taken this weekend (3-1-08)

thanks for all the replies... I used to live in London but been in n.California for 14 years so just a bit wary of the snow!!! I guess I just have to think that all my other reasons for moving are way too important than the weather!!!(kids schooling, culture, shorter trips to europe etc)

I've gotta imagine that we have one more good snow left. In high school in CT, we would always be on pavement for the first week of the season waiting for that last late March snowstorm to melt. Miserable I tell ya. But then spring comes!

I live in NH but I'm only about 15 mins from the Mass boarder so I can tell you for some Mass residents out in the western park of the state and say winter has been VERY trying!!! I think we're over 125 inches of snow so far, I drove to Boston the other day and noticed they had no snow on the ground while I'm standing in 4 feet of it at home. For the inland part of the state I'm sure its been much more trying than the coastal. I can say here personally we have officially lost the benches in the park and the kids now sled over where they used to be, I'm thinking they gotta be under at least 10 inches of snow easily (from the top of the bench up, totally they're under probably closer to 6 feet of snow or more). Sigh I can't wait till I move back to Fla in 6 weeks.. I need heat that doesn't cost me an arm and a leg!!

here's one of the benches.. after two snow storms

this is from about 4 snow storms ago same bench from the other side, I moved some snow to show the very top of the bench and to give an idea of how high it was.. like I said this bench is gone now and if you see the pole behind the bench (top photo) that is offically gone now too, just more sled ground for the kiddies
