Default Info on Townsend, Ashby, or Pepperell?

We are trying to narrow down our town choices, and after speaking with the N. Middlesex school district, we really think it may be a good choice for us. We plan on visiting soon, but any info about these towns would be greatly appreciated!

TIA! Jennifer

Hi Jennifer,
I have lived in Townsend for 2 years and think the Elementary School - Spaulding- is wonderful! A lot of great activities always happening for the students. The town itself is good. Quiet, yet busy, close to bigger cities for shopping , dining, etc. Real Estate is quite expensive here and more so in Ashby, not to sure about Pepperell. If I can tell you anything else, just ask!

Groton VS. Townsend. Any input here? Groton looks very well kept, Townsend seems to appear a little more shall we say.... unkept. But both towns are very scenic and civic. Housing prices are much lower in Townsend, but the town is probably another 20 minutes down route 119 from Groton center. Does anyone have more insight on these towns?
