Yes, Massachusetts has a School Choice Law ([url=http://www.malegislature.gov/Laws/GeneralLaws/PartI/TitleXII/Chapter76/Section12B]General Laws: CHAPTER 76, Section 12B[/url]). Each School Committee is required by the law to vote annually to participate in School of Choice (or not). Furthermore, each school committee sets it's own policies regarding how they will handle school choice.

What we really need is vouchers.

Let the parents decided where to educate their kids.

I doubt you would find many schools that offer school choice that are better than Mansfield. Most of the "great" school systems don't participate in the program.
