Unfortunately that is probably true. But anything north in that price range will be at least 40 mins or so from North Station, and thus 60 mins plus from the job, unless there is an express bus as you had. All of the places mentioned into South Station are still closer than coming in from Providence.

I know everyone on here has their own opinion, but have you checked out Sharon? Right on the rail (I think only like 30 min. to South Station) and from what I know, it's a very nice town.
Anyone else want to weigh in on this one?

I agree and thought of Sharon. I think it is a bit more expensive than some of the other towns in that area, because the schools are highly regarded, but it is definitely worth a look. It is a nice town.

Sharon would be a good train ride! But is it affordable? I always thought it was expensive.
