I have accepted a job in N. Grafton and my partner has a job in Cambridge. We are looking for housing in-between, west of Framingham. It sounds like the driving commute is going to really stink into Cambridge in the am. Does the commuter rail provide any benefit to this?

My suggestion would be find a place in Framingham. Let your partner drive into Cambridge via Rt90 (using Framingham entrance) to Cambridge/Allston. You want to avoid the Rt495 entrance into Rt90.
Does the commuter rail provide any benefit to this? No... Commuter rail from Framingham West goes right into Boston not Cambridge. You'll have to go to South Station to get back out to Cambridge. |
