Default Insurance Companies

If everyone can tell me what company they have their insurance (auto, health, life, homeowners) with in the towns somewhat near the CT border, or what the most popular/mainly used companies are, I'd really appreciate it.

I currently work for State Farm in Virginia, but know they are aren't currently running agencies in MA or RI, and we plan to move to one of those two states or CT in the next 6 months, so I'd like to start looking for a job... and want one that has a somewhat small-agency feel to it but yet is a popular company to go through.

Thanks for any info!

Commerce is one of the largest auto insurers in Massachusetts, if not THE largest. Arbella is headquartered in Quincy. Blue Cross/Blue Shield has a strong presence, with office centers in Quincy and Boston. Aetna (I'm an employee) operates in the Boston area as well as on its main Hartford and Middletown (CT) campuses. Travelers and Cigna are two other major insurance companies based around Hartford. Message me directly if there's more I can answer for you. A new-employee referral bonus would be nice (LOL), only half-kidding.
