That's an issue that's only resolved with tires. At minimum, silica embedded snow tires. Better would be studded snows; however, MA has regs which limit use and you compromise your dry stopping distance.

Quattro is the best consumer grade 4 wheel drive system on the market.

I'm personally not a fan of Subaru's because of the styling and stigma attached to the people who drive them.

an Audi Quattro with snow tires is unstoppable in the snow.

Subaru's are the iconic status symbol for the cookie cutter New England progressive liberal.

Every single one of my college professors had either a Crosstek, Impreza or a Toyota Prius.

Prototypical commie cars.

Also, Volkswagens with 4-Motion AWD are less expensive and overall much better cars than Subaru's. Greater reliability, better cost efficiency, styling and driving dynamics.

I'm not sure why you'd pick a car based off of political affiliation. Anyway, Montana, full of progressive liberals. Because the popularity of certain cars has to do with political affiliation and not the climate.

LBGT friendly brand. I have a staunch anti-gay relative that won't even ride in one.

What a snowflake.

Do they refuse to buy apple products because they have a gay CEO?

I'm all for a good liberal bash, but c'mon...politicizing a car brand? I've heard the Subaru LGBT thing plenty of times before, and just think it's stupid that such stereotypes exist.

At what point are people going to start boycotting the VAG, or Mercedes for their ties to Nazi Germany? Ferdinand Porsche received a contract directly from Hitler to design "the people's car". Hell, he was an officer in the SS but I don't see any Boston libs giving up their 911's and Cayenne's anytime soon.

Who cares about Subaru. It's a fine car and holds plenty of guns in the back for a day at the range.
