There's no possibility of getting from Athol to Northampton in 25 minutes.

There are two basic routes from Athol to Northampton. Either you take 202 onto Rte 9, then Rte 9 from Belchertown, through Amherst and Hadley and over the Coolidge Bridge. Or, you go Rte 2 to I-91S to the Damon Rd exit.

Either way it's an hour's drive.

Been to Eureka twice, most beautiful area

Northampton is similar- more Liberal, more cerebral-
Climate of course is colder- housing costs will be about the same, taxes on real estate higher, sales tax lower.

great place to live.
