Let me check acton and westford too.
That apt complex is in a great location, and easy commute to Burlington.

Yes. Why wouldn't you be able to drive? Westford is like 32 sq.mi, so 18 miles for a commute is...easy.. Great schools, fabulous town resources, great theatre/sports teams, extremely safe. All neighborhoods are great, but those in the center of town down to Carlisle are the most desirable. Those in the far north/west like Nabnasset and Graniteville are the least desirable.

Not sure about the rental market, but I'm sure you can find something.

Its an easy 30 minutes drive from Westford to Burington taking the back roads. My wife was doing it for couple of years and had no problems what so ever.

Right, and if you're on the rt. 3 side of town, it's 15-20 minutes via highway. Peak traffic, it's more like 35 min, so back roads makes more sense.

You may get that month free but once you're in there, the monthly rent is still above your target - 1 BR $2300 and 2 BR $2600.

The OP has stated early in the thread that she is just getting used to driving in the US and would not be comfortable with long distances. Lexington (that rent sounds too good to be true!), Burlington, Bedford would be the best choices.

Be careful about wiring money over (make sure it's not a scam). That's if you're looking for places without actually seeing them in person.
